NextEnergy Group is committed to providing an environment in which all genders can thrive and feel supported to reach their potential.

We are proud to share that in the last year, the Group has made notable progress in terms of the seniority of its female staff are who taking up management roles.

This is happening at a very fast rate and is closing the gap between the proportion of men vs women who are managers. Between December 2023 and November 2024, female managers across NextEnergy Group increased by 34%. In addition, from 2025 executive leadership team (GLT) will be made up of 57% females and 43% men.

We are increasingly active and involved in building a more inclusive and diverse renewables sector and our recent initiatives include a collaboration with WiSEU (Women in Solar Europe).

At NextEnergy Group we also show our commitment to supporting the LGBTQ community through several initiatives aimed at fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace. We prioritise creating safe spaces for LGBTQ employees and allies, celebrating Pride Month, and ensuring equitable policies for all team members.

Our support and allyship for LGBTQ community is demonstrated by contributing to ‘grass roots’ charities such as Humsafar Trust as part of our broader social responsibility initiatives, demonstrated by annual donations to select organisations since 2021/22.

Through partnerships, educational programs, and advocacy, we actively promote equality both within the company and in the wider community.
